The Grand Tour cruise from Apostle Island in Bayfield was very nice - 3 1/4 hours, $40 In August 2015, we stayed in our at Apostle Islands Area Campground in Bayfield, WI.
Own or manage this property? There is NO drive up car, tent, or RV campingavailable in the Apostle Islands. This is a nice campground, just 1 mile from Bayfield. The sites are a little larger than most places, most are shaded and they offer full service for 35 bucks a night. Discover and book tent camping, RV parks, cabins, treehouses, and glamping—everywhere from national parks to blueberry farms.
We would definitely stay here again! Camping is available on 18 of the Lakeshore's 21 islands, and at one campsite on the mainland. Highly recommended!

My only other recommendation is that if you need WiFi for business, make sure to book something closer to the office, we didn’t get any signal from site 19. They gave us good information about the local ATV trails and the campground including bathroom/shower house were very clean.
