Hot tub could be bigger and I would suggest that River Ridge not fill up the hot tub with cold water at 4pm in the afternoon. Rather than trade emails back and forth, we directed prospective guests to the go2snowshoe website. Great mountain home, would definitely stay here again. The kids played downstairs and loved the bunk beds. Historical cozy cottage built in the mid 1800s conveniently located near the Green Bank Observatory, Snowshoe Mountain Resort, the National Forest and loads of hiking and biking trails. We are so glad you enjoyed the home and the coffee! The lodge was beautiful inside and out. Complimentary wireless Internet access will keep you connected to the ‘outside world’, and an arcade/game room and satellite TV is available for your entertainment. Maximum Accommodations: 8 adults or 8 total with children We also had frequent moose sightings off the back deck. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and standard small appliances. One member suggested that a group of us network together and share inquiries that we could not fulfill. Minimum Age Limit: 30 Mountain Lodge at Snowshoe is the perfect home to enjoy and experience the mountains! Love the hot tub and the view!
