I trust the heroes will get on solid ground in a short time, but this is debatable...A good sequel to the classic book , well worth the trouble to read... for the young at heart. What is timeless, though, is Dahl's irreverent wit and irrepressible imagination.

Best read to a child who can't read over your shoulder, so you can tone down the many cultural stereotype jokes!
