The Fall River has been excellent this Summer and has handed many of our guests memorable days on this big Spring Creek.

Nymphing is the best method though, think as your weapons of choice LBS from New down to Sims, and from Sims down think caddis imitations like the Fox Puppa and birds nest.

McCloud River Fishing Report. This time of year with the lack of hatches the fish are hugging the bottom in the deep runs and pools or sticking their heads into the heavy oxygenated water where they feel safest.

A tapered 9-foot leader, with tippet size 3X to 5X to match the flies you are throwing, is pretty standard. I hooked 3 fish on my first 3 casts of the sas The Mac: Stones and big mayflies are starting to make their appearance. The breathtaking scenery and landscape sets from McCloud River apart from any other stream in the area.

It was great to see Anthony again, but little time to chat we were in the water and into fish within the hour. Great guys who made the 2 half day trips on the river a lot of fun for our group of 8! Ac has provided this , and we could not have a better experience.
